Which Download Site Should You Join?

With virtually thousands of websites in many different categories, it is often difficult to find a site to download your favorite program. Because not all download sites are created equal!

There are so many sites from which to choose, ranging from free sites, to pay per downloads, to paid membership. It could be quite confusing and especially costly if you join the wrong one. Many of the so-called "free" sites are filled with spyware, adware, and viruses. Your "free" download could end up costing you hundreds to thousands of dollar in computer repairs and replacements.

Then there are the fly-by-night membership sites, cheap imitators and scammers, is what I like to call them. Many claim to be the best and promise so much yet delivers so little. Some sites provide a very limited collection from which to choose. Others are so user un-friendly you do not even know where to begin, tech support is virtually non existent. Many take forever to download. Worse yet, some paid membership sites are no better than the "free" ones, and are loaded with dangerous malwares.
